Sports Medicine

Our Physicians have been treating professional, amateur and student action sports athletes for over 30 years. CORE Orthopaedic Medical Center is committed to comprehensive management of sports-related injuries for athletes of all ages, using the latest operative and non-operative treatments for conditions and injuries of the ankle, foot, knee, leg, hip and shoulder.

A team approach is utilized by our Sports Medicine Physicians in working with each injured athlete to return them to their highest level of performance in the safest and fastest manner possible. We evaluate each athlete’s injury and are able to rehabilitate on time frames that best suit the athlete.

Our Sports Medicine Specialists

Gregory J. Loren, MD, is Fellowship Trained in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy, as well as in Orthopaedic Research. He is the Team Physician for La Costa Canyon High School and CSU San Marcos.

Luke F. Bremner, MD, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons with a focus of training in complex sports and trauma. He specializes in shoulder and knee reconstruction/repair, hip arthroscopy, and both bony and soft tissue trauma.
